NextGenUs Hull Unofficial Site
As NextGenUs Hull do not yet have a website up and running I have created an Unofficial NextGenUs Hull Website. The address for the unofficial NextGenUs Hull website is
ngu-hull.no-ip.org NextGenUs Hull is one of only 2 alternatives to the monopolistic ISP Karoo in Hull. In Hull there is no other hard wired ISP, Just Karoo. There is 2 wireless providers that offer much faster speeds than karoo. My Karoo connection is 2.5Mbps with NextGenUs Hull it would be 20Mbps+

Music
All music that is reviewed in our new music review section is available to listen to by registered users in our new music section.
Users must register before being able to use this section of the website. The music section of the website uses the Ampache music server and is not yet themed to the rest of the site yet.
If you are registered and logged in you can access the Music section hear.

Music Reviews
I am now incorporating a new music review section on this site. Why you ask, because I like music, but more to the point its to make people aware of good music that isn\'t well known.
Currently I have added a review of the little known Tour 72 bootleg by Pink Floyd, basicly this album is Dark Side Of The Moon a year before it was released.
Next on the list that I want to add is a review of the Secret Sisters new album who made their UK debut on the Jules Holland\'s Annual Hooternanny on new years eve.

Your Site
The Software that runs this site will soon be available to download under the terms of the GPL. You can currently only obtain a copy via request, however the software will soon be coming up to version 1.0. So when it does reach v1.0 it will be getting its own section dedicated to it on this website.
The software will be released under the name Your-Site. all that will be required to use the software will be a PHP enabled web server and MySQL. At the minuet it is just really testing for any bugs and fixing them and writing install instructions that is stopping it reaching version 1.0.

New Server
Berrance Networks is now hosted on an external server to maximize uptime. The site used to be hosted on my own server with a connection from my isp that dropped every 3rd to 5th day. Also the bandwidth should be larger on the new server.
The main bad point of the new server from my point of view is all the SQL scripting in my website was done in MySQLi as the new server doesn't support MySQLi so I had to rewrite everything in plain old MySQL, a right pain in the wotsits!

Back On Line
The Berrance Networks Website is now back on line!
The website has been down for some time due to it been hosted on my own personal server and a house move. Now we have our isp switched and our severs back up and running again, about time as well.
once we are a little more settled down I hope to resume programming the the website and forums to add more features and aid usability. I ask for your patience during this stage as we are still sorting out the house move, have a 17 month old monster to entertain plus all code I use is not recycled and all comes poring out of my finger tips.
For any one returning to our site please don't forget to visit our forums, well for that matter new users don't forget to register.
